1. Jay Peak (+8)
Jay Peak has had one of the best weeks in New England this week and it showed as they were able to get to 100% open!
2. Killington (+2)
Killington has some of the most open terrain in the region and opened up Bear Mountain trails this past weekend!
3. Bretton Woods (+13)
Bretton Woods has been rapidly opening terrain across the mountain and added most of their glades along with the West Mountain area.
4. Saddleback (-1)
Saddleback continues to have a great month and still has powder stashes in the glades.
5. Mad River Glen (+3)
Mad River Glen is at 100% open right now and this is the best time of the year to get the perfect MRG experience as the snow will get better headed into February but after that it will deteriorate.
6. Sugarbush (-5)
Sugarbush drops a few spots out of number one but they are still one of the best places to visit right now.
7. Stowe (-2)
Stowe has almost everything on the main mountain and Spruce Mountain areas open along with everything on Mansfield, need we say more?
8. Sunday River (+4)
Little White Cap is now open for the season along with Merrill Hill has Sunday River offers a wide variety of terrain.
9. Smuggler’s Notch (-7)
Smuggs is still a quality option despite dropping seven spots and offers some of the more challenging terrain in Vermont off Madonna.
10. Sugarloaf (+3)
Another good week in Maine means Sugarloaf continued to add trails throughout the week and with snowmaking going on, be on the lookout for the West Mountain expansion area to open soon.
11. Waterville Valley (-5)
Waterville Valley has held on to roughly 55 trails well and is hosting the Waterville Freestyle Cup January 26th-27th.
12. Wildcat (+6)
Wildcat has over 40 trails open with plenty of trails that have not been groomed yet with powder stashes on them.
13. Okemo (-6)
Okemo continues to have over 100 trails open and providing some of the best skiing in southern Vermont.
14. Loon (=)
Loon opened up a ton of trails this weekend and will look to get their only double black diamond, Ripsaw, open soon.
15. Bolton Valley (-5)
Bolton Valley came so close to getting all of their trails open this weekend but could not completely open up Timberline Peak this weekend.
16. Cannon (+1)
Cannon has added almost every trail at the top of the mountain including the Hardscrabbles while also opening up some of the Mittersill Area.
17. Gunstock (+5)
It was announced earlier this week that General Manager Tom Day will be retiring at the end of the season and right now the season is getting really good for Gunstock.
18. Berkshire East (+1)
Berkshire East is still the best option for southern New England and has almost 30 trails open.
19. Stratton (-8)
Stratton is sitting around 80 trails open as more and more terrain gets opened.
20. Mount Snow (-5)
Mount Snow has been opening up some terrain on the main face and still has great skiing.
21. Sunapee (=)
Sunapee recently opened up the Beck Brook Glades which provides some more terrain for anyone who likes a little tree skiing.
22. Pleasant Mountain (+1)
Pleasant has over 35 trails open and now gets to open trails like Peter’s Plunge and East Glades that are usually only open for a little over a month.
23. Pico (NR)
Pico is nearby Killington and has all their trails open with less of the crowd that Killington has.
24. Magic Mountain (NR)
Magic Mountain also has all of their trails open including some of their best glades like Goniff Glade and Twilight Zone.
25. Black Mountain NH (NR)
What a ride it’s been for Black Mountain. Closing down October to getting 38 trails open in January while also announcing improvements to snowmaking in the Platter Pull area.
